We Have to Make Some Changes This Week, Unfortunately

How are each of you? I hope well given the circumstances.

It has been a wild couple of weeks at the bakery. Over half of our staff has been out for various reasons. We are a small but mighty team of 11, including me, so with half a staff we are definitely feeling it! I'm sure some of you were surprised to see that we didn't have any walk-up pastries for sale this past weekend, but we were so short-staffed that we didn't even have a counter person available, Believe me, no one is more disappointed than I am.

Now we have had some secondary COVID contact, so some of us are going through quarantine and testing protocols to keep everyone safe. Therefore, we unfortunately will not be able to bake enough pastries to accommodate any pre-orders this coming weekend. We will be making a good selection of pastries however that we will have available for walk-up on Saturday and Sunday.

We have also returned to using our plexiglass door and sliding window for safety. Delivery is also not an option for the time being.

Sadly, this situation has also affected our wholesale baking operation, so you can only imagine the stress it's putting on the business, and me.

Hopefully we will soon be back to operating at full capacity, and taking online pre-orders again, so stay tuned here and on our IG account.
