Amarena Cherry Parisian + Twice Baked Cheese Croissant

Hope you had a great long weekend and that your week is off to a beautiful start. We are excited to kick off the week with the addition of two new pastries to the online preorder menu for this weekend; one sweet and one savory.

The first is an Amarena Cherry Parisian. We spread frangipane on a round of Bakeshop croissant dough and then top it with Amarena cherries and a drizzle of simple syrup. For those unfamiliar, Amarena cherries are a dark, wild cherry that grows in the Bologna and Modena regions of Italy. They are sweet with an intense cherry flavor – a real treat! 

The second is a Twice Baked Cheese Croissant that is filled and topped with béchamel, and covered in swiss cheese. It strikes an addictive textural balance of tender and flaky croissant, creamy béchamel, and crisp melted cheese. For those who prefer savory to sweet, it’s a must try.

You’ll also see the return of our Blueberry Graham Scone to the menu, which has been a long-time customer and staff favorite. We make them with a mix of oat, graham, and ap flour, as well as rolled oats, dried blueberries, poppy seeds, a hint of lemon, and a maple butter glaze. They’re soft, tender, and hearty – the breakfast bar of scones!
