Challah

I’ve been wanting to add bread to our repertoire at the bakery since we opened and the time is finally here! We are going to go slow, as this is all new to me, and open the bakery on Friday afternoons for limited, pre-ordered loaves. We are kicking off the program this Friday with this week’s Secret Item - Challah!

Challah is a delicious bread made from dough rich in eggs and twisted into long ropes to create a braid. Traditionally, a loaf of Challah graces the table at Friday night Shabbat dinner. However, the bread is just as popular with the brunch crowd as it makes the very best French toast!

For now the Challah will be the only item available on Friday. But you can also pick yours up on Saturday, along with our other pastries. Available this week for our newsletter subscribers only, so be sure to join our email list for access to all of our weekly specials.
